We are pleased to announce the release of my new book, How to Open a Successful Pawnshop, authored by Norman Gornbein. It is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, the Book Depository, and dozens of other online bookstores!

One of the successful pawnshops that I recently opened for a client in Detroit was purchased for a major television show.

I am very proud of the fact that what I set up was good enough for Les Gold and his great show!

Believe me—I can do the same for you.

Do you want to start making big money? Really big recession-proof money? Then open up an upscale pawnshop!

Let me teach you from start to finish with my 30 years of proven experience. I can teach you hands on experience from testing gold for purity (10kt, 14kt, 18kt), grading diamonds, analyzing assorted fine watches (Rolex), and pricing estate jewelry.

With my help, you can detect fakes within seconds. From computer systems to one-on-one customer assistance, I will show you everything you need to know to be profitable.

At the age of 50, I sold my business and semi-retired. With my help, and my 30 years of experience you too will be successful. Please take a look at the other pages of my website—you’ll find many gems about pawnbroking, and might even see a path to wealth for yourself—and with no initial inventory expense! - Norman Gornbein, Jewelry Consultant From How to Open a Successful Pawnshop:

I also sold jewelry to some of the Detroit Lions players. In fact, back in the 90s there was a Lions’ player who was a big Elvis Presley fan. He just had to have the same necklace that Elvis wore and came to my store one day bringing a picture of Elvis wearing a pendant that bore the initials “T.C.B.” with a lightning bolt by it. The “T.C.B.” stood for “taking care of business.” I made him the exact copy of Elvis’ pendant, and the guy was just so happy.
